1-component, fast-drying, solvent-based filler made of cork crumbs and flexible adhesive for sound and heat insulation, such as filling gaps between a window frame and a wall, a doorway and a wall, and filling joints in wood and parquet floors, for example, between a tree and a tile, between a tree and a wall. Liquid cork is a strong, flexible, viscous and stable material.
The large amount of air bubbles in the cork crumbs creates an insulating effect, reducing heat and cold circulation and providing very good sound insulation. The liquid cork provides 27 db of sound insulation (for comparison, the sound insulation of an empty seam is 19 db). The sound insulation complies with DIN 52210, IPB-GS 133/90. Thermal insulation complies with DIN 52612, P1-117 / 1990.
Product features:

Composition: cork crumbs and solvent-based flexible adhesive.
Tone: cork color.
Density: 0.35 g per 1 cm³.
Consistency: viscous, flexible, stable.
Application: fill with a cork gun (compressed air) or a trowel.
Temperature resistance: from -30ºC to + 120ºC.
Application temperature: from + 5ºC to + 35ºC.
Drying time: depending on the room temperature, about 6 to 12 hours.
Insulating properties: for sound, heat and cold insulation.
Sound insulation: when filling a 3mm thick liquid stopper, approx. 27 db.
Usage:
Surface preparation: the surface must be hard, dry, smooth, free of dust and grease. Surface moisture should not exceed 3%.
Application: fill the liquid cork into the seams with a cork gun or apply with a trowel. Fill the seam evenly with liquid cork. When the product is used externally, an elastic sealant must be applied after filling the liquid cork, which will protect it from the weather. Indoors, the liquid cork must be treated with the product applied to the entire surface (varnish, oil, paint). The smell of glue remains until the liquid cork dries completely.
Cleaning: can be cleaned with a solvent before drying, mechanically after drying.
Consumption: one pack (500 ml), approximately 10 per 10 m if the seam size is 10×10 mm.
Storage: in the original, closed package for at least 12 months, store in a cool and dry place.
