Degree of gloss: the gloss level of the finished surface depends on the finish, the method of operation and the follow-up orders. After polishing, a silk-matt look. Further orders and care measures may increase the gloss level.
Note: keep soaked rags, pads and other working material in closed containers. Oil/wax in connection with sanding dust, cloth rags and the like must be moistened with water or deposited in a closed can or be disposed of in a safe way – danger of auto- ignition. The product itself is not auto-ignitive! If necessary, dilute with Brilliance Cleaner L91 KH- Verdünnung (thinner). The processing conditions must comply with the specifications of DIN 18356. The processing conditions must comply with the specifications of DIN 18356. If required, Classic 100ProOil can be mixed with Classic BaseOil Color. During the oxidative drying of oils/waxes, a typical odor occurs, which decreases significantly over the course of days. On contact with silane adhesives, oils/waxes cannot dry reliably (Technical Information No. 21).
Application: raw wood sanding must show a uniform but not too fine sanding pattern so that the wood will absorb a sufficient quantity of oil/wax. The raw wood sanding must show a uniform sanding pattern without any sanding mistakes. If necessary, a joining is recommended with AquaSeal Pafuki, AquaSeal PafukiPulver or PafukiSuper. Classic 100ProOil is uniformly applied using a trowel. After trowelling, remove the excess and polish with a one disc sander. Layer formation has to be avoided in each case, that is, the surplus must be completely removed. If there is any joint sweating, polish again after approx. 1 h. After drying, especially for very absorptive wood species, a 2nd trowel coat may be required. A significantly reduced oil intake of the soil is to be expected. With the 10:1 addition of Classic Plus Reaktivvergütung (reactive compensation), drying inhibition can be reduced, hardening, resistance and blocking resistance are improved. Do not mix more material than can be processed within 2 h. Cleaning of the tools with Brillance Cleaner L91 KH- Verdünnung (thinner).
Drying: standard climate 23°C/50% rel. humidity and air movement: – carefully walkable after approx. 10-12 h; – can be worked over after 24 h For wood with drying-inhibiting substances, insufficient ventilation, lower soil temperature, other air humidity and increased layer thickness drying can be significantly delayed. Do not load mechanically or with water before 8-14 days, cover with carpets or maintain.
Consumption: depending on sanding, wooden substrate and method of floor covering:
Normally 30-50 g/m2 with oak in closed joint pattern as first coat, significantly less for the following coats. Very dry, strongly absorbent wood, floors with many joints and end-grain surfaces are applications in which significantly increased consumption can be present.
Storage/transport: shelf life of original unopened packing 24 months min. provided that material is transported and stored at a cool and dry place. Opened cans must be well closed; the material hardens in contact with air. Remove possible peel.
Store in a dry, well-ventilated place at a temperature between 15 ° C and 25 ° C. Protect from heat and direct sunlight. Keep tightly closed.
Use limitation: floor with open, wide joints should not be treated with Classic 100ProOil because too much material is trowelled into the joints.
Cleaning/maintenance: the care of the parquet floors, which are treated with Classic 100ProOil can be done according to the care instructions.
