Teak Oil is a high quality product based on vegetable oils and resins for all types of exterior wood such as fences, pergola, play ground timber, wooden terraces and decks, teak furniture and garden furniture. Suitable especially for tropical woods such as bangkirai and teak.
Saliva- and perspiration resistant according to DIN 53160.
Colour
Transparent, colourless to slightly yellow. Light and absorbent surfaces will dry slightly darker. Woodwork will react differently in colour according to the nature of the wood and the structure of the wood grain.
Ingredients
Linseed oil, castor oil, wood oil, isoparaffins, iodo-propynyl-butylcarbamate, drying agents. Product contains max 420 g/l VOC. EU limit value for this product (cat. f): 700 g/l (2010).
Hazard statements
May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways. Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects.

Application
Stir well before use. Apply by brush thinly and evenly. Avoid ponding. Ambient- and surface temperature must be higher than +10°C.
Drying time
Approx. 16 – 24 hours. It is essential to provide adequate ventilation during the drying process!
Packaging and consumption
Approx. 50 – 70 ml/m2 per coat depending on the absorbency of the surface.
Packaging: 0.25l for 4 m², 0.75l for 12,5 m², 2.5l for 41,5 m²
Storage
Originally sealed at least 5 years stable. Store dry, cool and sealed.
Disposal
According to locally regulated laws. European Waste Catalogue (EWC) 08 01 11.
Cleaning up
Clean surfaces with neutral detergents in lukewarm water. Clean equipments immediately after use with solvents.
Precautionary statements
Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking. Contains Iodo-2-propynyl-butylcarbamate. May produce an allergic reaction. Active ingredient: Iodo-2-propynyl-butylcarbamate <0,6%
Keep out of reach of children. IF SWALLOWED: Call a POISON CENTER/doctor if you feel unwell. Do NOT induce vomiting. Avoid release to the environment.
Dispose of contents/container according to local regulations. Always be sure to store cleaning cloth, polishing pads, sponges, etc. that are still wet or even slightly moist with product in an airtight metal container or in water and dispose, as there is a danger of spontaneous combustion caused by the plant oil content in the product. The product alone will not undergo spontaneous combustion.
A typical smell may arise due to the natural raw materials. During sanding wear mask against respirable dust.
